Brute Ceramics works with architects, interior designers, art consultants and private collectors to create sculptural ceramic pieces for spaces with character.
Each commission is developed specifically for its setting — considering scale, form, material and the presence the work should bring to the space.
From individual statement pieces to site-specific and multi-piece commissions, every work is shaped once, by hand, and made to hold its own presence within an interior.
Commissions are available for private residences, hospitality and commercial interiors.

Brute Ceramics creates sculptural ceramic objects that challenge our idea of perfection.
After years in strategy and finance, I found myself drawn to clay — its weight, resistance and complete lack of interest in being perfect.
So I stopped trying to control it.
I build each piece by hand in my studio in Vreeland, Netherlands, using coils, layers, pressure and instinct. Raw surfaces, uneven edges, fingerprints and variations aren't flaws. They're part of the object.
Every piece is one of one.
BRUTE sits somewhere between art and design: sculptural objects made to live in a space, bring texture to it, and demand a second look.
