MASS is built from recycled clay - black, white, and speckled, mixed and layered, deliberately awkward in form. Nothing matches. Nothing is refined.

Just like people, these objects were made for closeness. Placed together, they stop looking incomplete and start looking inevitable. The ugliness becomes texture. The awkwardness becomes character.
