INSTINCT is about the part of us that exists before explanation. The instinctive. The primal. The things we feel before we have time to rationalise them.

The series takes inspiration from animal patterns and the raw, earthy quality of the clay. Each vessel is hand-built through coiling, using layers of different earthy clays to create the pattern within the form itself. The surface is then worked and scraped back by hand, revealing the markings and variations that make each piece unique.

The result is something that feels both familiar and slightly wild. Organic forms carrying patterns we recognise, but never perfectly reproduced.

INSTINCT is about trusting what feels right before trying to make it make sense.
